Attendease is a cloud-based, event management platform used by event and conference managers at organizations such as Adobe, SXSW, Brightedge, Atlassian, ESRI, Datto, and Pivotal.  We are all about creating world-class event experiences through creating a repeatable event campaign process and have built a modern SaaS platform to help make that happen.  Our Gastown office is located in the iconic Sun Tower building, and is where our current team of 14 (and growing) staff plus a stable of contractors and other partners work from.

We are looking for an Enterprise Account Executive in our Vancouver headquarters to join our sales team and focus on enterprise customers in North America. We seek talent that is not afraid of hard work, and is eager to contribute to building a world-class company working in a collaborative team that is focused on winning together.  You will primarily be responsible for driving new sales opportunities with prospective customers as well as expanding business within your accounts. Important will be your ability to listen to and understand the needs and challenges of our customers, and ultimately to ensure strong fit between Attendease and their business objectives. This role reports to the Sr. Dir of Sales, and entails working closely with the Sales and Marketing team to build momentum for mid-market and enterprise customers in our target markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns the full sales cycle from qualified lead to close

  • Establish lasting relationships with senior executives and decision-makers

  • Evangelize the Attendease value proposition through product demos, field customer events and account-specific initiatives

  • Construct, forecast and manage your sales activity and pipeline to meet and exceed targets

  • Help educate customers on the value of Attendease throughout their adoption cycle

  • Build awareness about Attendease and our value proposition at all levels of an account

  • Identify customer needs to ensure customer success with special emphasis on signup, upgrade, and renewal

  • Collaborate with other members of the team (customer success managers, leadership, and marketing.) to build strategic adoption plans for customers

  • Prepare and educate customers on new features and releases

  • Monitor and identify adoption and utilization trends

  • Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas including product

  • Drive revenue through proactive outreach to key accounts.

Requirements:

  • You are fluent in English

  • You are digital – you are fully versed in CRM, lead generation, the Google suite, and ideally marketing automation.  You have SaaS sales experience

  • Familiar with SaaS metrics and ideally the Predictable Revenue approach

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • You have 7+ years of software sales experience, preferably in B2B SaaS software sales

  • Successfully sold software into F1000 companies

  • You are a self-motivated teammate that can act independently

  • Experience interacting with, presenting to and selling to senior managers and the C-Suite

  • You have a consistent track record of identifying customer needs and successfully implementing solutions

  • You have documented success of meeting or exceeding target year over year

  • You get excited and have the drive and determination to close net new business

  • You are flexible, adaptive, and resilient

  • You have a post-secondary degree

  • Some travel required

  • This is a permanent position
